Sim-racing first
Develop a practical online format for racing, conversation, and community participation. No date or entry process is open yet.
Qurmmius is developing a Philadelphia-centered event concept with the ambition to become a recurring annual series. The first step is a digital-first edition; any future in-person program must earn its way forward through feasibility, partners, safety planning, and approvals.
“Qurmmius Philadelphia Speed Week” is a working title; name and trademark clearance are not complete.
The idea is to bring people together around the skill, creativity, and culture of racing. The exact mix of activities is still being designed—not promised. A digital gathering gives Qurmmius a responsible way to test interest and learn before proposing a physical event.
Develop a practical online format for racing, conversation, and community participation. No date or entry process is open yet.
Use an initial edition to understand audience interest, accessibility needs, operations, and what a future gathering should actually include.
Assess an approved venue or public-space proposal only after agencies, venue operators, qualified event partners, insurance, and funding are addressed.
A recurring event is built edition by edition. We will announce only what has actually been scheduled and approved.
Set a realistic format, audience, budget, staffing plan, accessibility goals, and a date only after the plan and capacity are confirmed.
Ask Philadelphia’s Office of Special Events about the right process and agencies before proposing a physical location or street route.
Work with qualified event, traffic, medical, accessibility, insurance, and discipline-specific partners where the chosen format requires them.
Publish dates, registration, ticketing, partners, or a course only after written confirmations and every applicable permit or sanction is in place.
We want to build this for the community and keep Qurmmius at its center. Qurmmius is creating the event identity and original presentation. Any future collaboration should have written scopes and clear brand/content terms. This does not claim exclusive control of public streets, a general race format, or third-party motorsport marks.
Not yet. The goal is a proposed annual series; an annual cadence starts only after an edition is actually organized and future editions are feasible.
That is not decided. A public-road event would need early feasibility work and all required city, transportation, safety, insurance, and event approvals.
No government agency, racing league, sanctioning body, or established series is represented as a partner or endorser.
We’ll keep the ambition visible while being precise about what is still a concept. No ticket sales, public-road route, date, or event registration is being offered at this stage.
