Provenance first
Keep source, date, license, and curator notes attached to every restoration preview.
Turn archival images into carefully contextualized scenes while keeping provenance, uncertainty, and reconstructed detail visible to the reviewer.
Browse the cited scenes available in the EraWeaver catalog. Filters and sorting run locally in this browser.

Choose an image and generate a new, inferred scene from its structure, sky cues, and optional Qurmmius Palimpsest context. The prototype never uploads the file and never presents generated detail as recovered history.

Engine: EraWeaver SkyTone v2 · deterministic, data-driven local reconstruction. It estimates a physically plausible sky and atmosphere from observation time, approximate location, weather scenario, and image cues; the combined scene pass uses Qurmmius Palimpsest relief as bounded depth/lighting input to synthesize a new image while preserving the original beside it.
Synthetic World's Fair sample: a 1893 Chicago World's Fair-inspired scene is included for a quick demo. It is generated artwork, not an archival photograph or historical evidence.
LOC 1893 restoration candidate: an AI-assisted sky edit of a Library of Congress panoramic photograph whose catalog notes “sky painted out on negative.” It is a review candidate, not recovered evidence; the original and a same-era LOC sky reference remain cited in its provenance.
Evidence scene MVP: Enter the 1893 WCE Administration Building scene to inspect five cited viewpoints, hotspots, the approximate Qurmmius Palimpsest anchor, and the reviewed 3DGS handoff contract.

Mark inferred areas so a researcher can distinguish archival evidence from generated context.
Pair a restored image with a cited spatial layer only after map alignment and cultural review.
